The foundation to any ensemble lies in the undergarments. I love La Perla for their most beautiful slips and panties. Pale hues, hidden colors, monochromatic whispers all speak to the world of neutral… suspended… blended… tranquil.
The subtle hint of colors that belong to the neutral rainbow all work together as one. Textures, fabrics and colors in warm beige, tan, pale white, creme and gray…
Charcoal and warm brown leather create the masculine side of neutral. The latest collection from Restoration Hardware has an amazing selection of leather couches and chairs. I have used many of the vintage maps, trunk like coffee tables with their leather straps and well worn tufted leather sofas for some of my clients.
Scandinavian accents… are a perfect reference for neutrals done the European way.
Cool gray, champagne, platinum and yellow gold add elegance and shimmer. Crate and Barrels collection of silver lamps are great for adding finishing touches to any room.
Neutrals come in many shades… they are a great foundation or accent for any room. I love the versatility of a neutral palette. There is something about the neutral palette that makes choosing colors easier. Less is more and that is a good thing!

I have been looking for bedding now for quite some time and have always loved House Inc for it’s beautiful romantic style. Now I am so dissapointed to find out that your bedding selections have turned from beautiful floral and lace to the more modern lines and geometrics such as Serena and Lily. Now granted these fabrics are not ugly nor would I say I would never buy them, but seriously to get rid of all of the beautiful florals and textures and romance that you used to represent is just sad. I hope you will bring back that style and linens again and not just follow the status quo of the modern geometric trend. Thank you. This note was not meant to slam you but to let you know that consumers at least this one like tradtional yet stylish things and not neccesarily the modern slant.
